The Health and Safety at Work (Asbestos) Regulations 2016, put a responsibility on all businesses to have an asbestos management plan in the case of encountering asbestos. On the 4th April 2018 the “grace period ” for these regulations ended. If you own or manage a commercial premises and don’t have an asbestos management plan in place please call us.

Asbestos was commonly found in building materials used in the construction industry in New Zealand prior to the year 2000. Any construction/renovation/remodelling on buildings built before this date need to be approached with careful consideration.
